Potluck Food Rescue, a nonprofit dedicated to fighting hunger and reducing food waste in Arkansas, has announced Little Rock native Chris Wyman is its new executive director.
Wyman’s background includes several years working at Dunbar Garden, a nonprofit “outdoor classroom” that provides “educational resources and interactive opportunities for youth, families, and the community through sustainable urban agriculture.” He worked at the community garden from 2008 to 2015, then left to design and build the urban farm at Heifer International’s headquarters in downtown Little Rock. (The Heifer Urban Farm has since been permanently closed to the public.)
